I've been on a few of these, it's normally a group ride for about 30 minutes, good to get a taste of the bikes but not much more, always held up by the rest of the group or by the leaders.

Great work thanks OP, I'll definitely be going along to this!

Where did you find out about it?

I think they're in Peterborough next week, or the week after, will have to pop down.

Apologies for missing the posts - I went along, not having booked a ride, it was fairly quiet and only a few bikers present.

However, seeing Vale's Nr 46 - that was something. Looked tiny, light, solid, very 'carbony' and that it would be brutal. All that from just walking around it.

I went for a ride on my tod and passed two or three groups of the riders out on demos. Looked ok, but you'd probably want more time to and the chance on different bikes.

The Panigale looked lurvely though. Pity there were no rides offered on it.

I went along in the morning and most of the bikes seemed to be taken on every ride which I guess means it was pretty busy

The organisation was terrible though...
The bike I booked to ride the day before didn't turn up (I overheard others having the same problem too so must have been 2/3 bikes missing) and I was told it was 'damaged on last weeks roadshow'. They must have known about it last week then but still took bookings up until the day before mad

I was also told the day before that the new Supersport wouldn't be available as they weren't in the county yet guess what, in replacement of my bike not being there they offered me to ride the Supersport instead!

There were also bikes there which were not able to be ridden as someone had forgotten the keys, and the lead bloke went the wrong way twice so one of the punters had to lead half the ride to get back on track banghead

This.

I understand why it is so restrictive but a waste of time in my book.

I happened to be at OYB near Aylesbury on Saturday and the Ducati truck was there. I was offered the chance to take the 959 out but declined due to time. There was mention of a charge to go on the ride...how much is it?
