It will be short lived, hence the arrows from the South. This is not a prelude to a long sunny spell, but the outlook for April is good.

The high pressure that's been around since autumn looks to anchor itself west of Ireland, this results in a southerly wind for us. So dry and cool is the likely scenario.

Sods law says this high pressure will bugger off for summer time...

It was 1/2 degree warmer here today than the supposed scorcher yesterday. Weather forecasts are rubbish.

You only have to look at last winter anyway, if you want proof long term weather forecasting is not possible - even if you get the basic pattern right, literally a few miles difference in positioning can make it either exceptionally warm or exceptionally cold.

The UK had a very warm March, but the globe cooled overall. There is no logic to weather - it really is just chaos.

I thought the log burner had been tucked away but i got home this evening a bit nippy and found a few logs in the back room.

It's to warm now. nuts



It will have an end of season clean on the weekend though.
