Yesterday, Sat on my bike outside the girlfriends work. F*CKING BASTARDS one on a scooter waiting while the other snatched my helmet off the ground right next to me. Almost got him.

Very expensive lesson!

I can only take comfort in the thought of what I would have done if I had caught him!

Kwacker (with a nice new helmet)

Mate of mine had his laptop bag stolen from under his nose the other day. A few minutes later he got a phone call from the thieves offering to sell it to him - they found his business cards in the bag. When he refused, the phoned back later that night goading and taking the piss after smoking the proceeds. Scum.

I'm not being unsympathetic but was the scooter too fast for you ?????

On a similar note I've had a bungee on tail pack stanley knifed off the back of a bike while I was in a garage, and I didn't even see the fluckers let alone catch them.

Well maybe you were unlucky. I have done 250,000 plus as a courier and never had anything stolen, packages helmets, gloves, nothing. I think there are not many thieves about but the ones who do it are busy ALL the time.

I had an Arai RX7 taken from the helmet lock on my bike a couple of years ago. Cover your eyes Chris, the two blokes that did it were a pair of Pikeys with a Transit van and a Stanley Knife. They were quite happy to do it right in front of me, under the threat of violence - and I'm a 16st front row forward. The plates on the Transit turned out to be false. Never understood what you would do with a nice helmet minus a chin strap - not the easiest thing to replace and not too valuable after a couple of years with my sweaty bonce in it...

wanna come round to my place and earn some extra cash ??

I had my scooter nicked from Salisbury .. Ran out of fuel.. went to get some, left bike in Layby chained to a tree ... came back no bike, helmet, waterproofs, f**k all.
Police found the bike 2 weeks later, engine screwed & full of water. scratched to hell. Bastards ! Bike was 28 days old, only had 600 miles on the clock too
