Excellent purchase.. I have seen the German guys adverts a few times. Some nice bikes.

Hasn’t the upper fairing been trimmed? So fitting the oem mirrors would be difficult as they fit on the area that has been trimmed?

Love the colours though, Kawasaki have done an awesome job rocking the retro paint schemes with the current ZX400/ZX10R thumbup

Mine is a little older

I take it you're getting spark on all four plugs? I'd be tempted to think the mess at the kickstand was chain lube and road crap build up, clean it off, check the valve clearances whilst fixing the valve colour seal then get it running and have a better look at the kickstand area once the bike was rideable.

Nice thread btw, keep the updates coming. thumbup
I'm going to check them thoroughly as I have my doubts about one of the coils. I think you've steadied my mind a bit with the build up of crap point.

Bloody hell, what a spot! I checked the front fairing last night and didn't think they had been trimmed. Someone's made a nice job of it as only when comparing directly with other front fairings from the same paint scheme can I see that a small portion has been removed... and to think the mirrors still bashed off it when turning the handlebars!

And an image I pulled from an eBay advert:

Great, another part I'll need to source at some point down the road! Thanks for pointing that out to me though as I would have been scratching my head when it came to getting the mirrors to fit!

Your bike is stunning - I caught sight of it in another thread as well as whatever else you are hiding in the garage!

Is there a link to this German chap's adverts? Sounds like he sells some decent kit.

How was the registration process? Easy or a pain?

Waiting to find out from DVLA if I correctly filled in the V55 form or not!
