A man has been jailed for ramming a motorcyclist off a Buckinghamshire bridge in what police described as an act of “extreme” road rage.

As he was dealt with via a postal requisition there's no custody image of Mistry.

His 4yr 10 month driving ban initially made me think what’s the point as it matched his sentence however we all know he will be out after less than half.

I'm not looking to victim blame but I do wonder what went on before this went down. Apparently a non-verbal exchange. So giving him the finger or something.

Nutters like this is the reason you really don't want to fk around on the road. Especially on two wheels.

Why would he ever be allowed anywhere near the controls of a vehicle?

This

Ramming him like that I think the driver clearly had "kill" on his mind

It wasn't just a little nudge was it.

That's bananas! Crashed head on with another car whilst attempting to wipe out the biker, I do think a life time ban is in order regarding driving, not sure 5 years in jail is enough either, I do wonder about the law sometimes what more would you need to do to be up on a charge of attempted murder, is a car not seen as a weapon?

That should have been attempted murder and a much harsher punishment IMO

What a ridiculous sentance. It should have been at least 8-10 years. It is attempted murder; the fact he probably didn’t intend to kill the motorcyclist is irrelevant given he acted with such recklessness that a reasonable person would believe his action could result in a death.

Apart from being unduly lenient, how/why was he allowed to escape facing justice in person in a County Court?
Hopefully this will get referred to the Attorney General's Office for re-ezamination.

wow! as said 4 years is no where near enough for that. He should never be allowed near a car or bike again

That video was an uncomfortable watch! I must admit I very rarely end up in road rage situations on the bike (in fact I can't think of any), but should anything like that arise I would be opening the throttle and leaving them behind and to st with the speed limit! One of the safest things you can do on a bike is get yourself away from a dangerous situation with the power.

Jesus that's grim!
Punishment way too lenient.
As others have mentioned, something must have kicked all of this off. As I get older & wiser, I try my best not to react to muppetry & avoid gesticulating etc even at the most anger inducing tts. Life is too short.

It is amazing that you can perfectly legally drive a few years after doing something like that.
