a Niken is ~11cm wider than a T-Max. If you have lower back pain a maxi-scooter might not work as a lot of your weight goes straight down through your spine and cocyxx. A Niken will spread more weight through your legs and arms.

You can get trike front ends and rear ends for certain bikes but they're a kit from a third party and Yamaha has done all the work for you with a Niken....

Recently a young driver in a Micra cut across me to turn into a M&S no doubt to start work so was rushing. I just knew it.... Micra.. so I was on the brakes preloading and saved it. I turned into the carpark with her and explained calmly. She looked blankly at me until I explained about her insurance costs if there had been a collision, bingo! That had a reaction laugh

The only thing that she cared about.

Any recommendations for AAA pants I'm all ears.

The three wheel jobs like the Niken I know get great reviews, but as daft as it sounds, I have it in my head they’re a bit wider than I’d like. I need to do some research (aka Googling) to see just how wide they are.
Don't confuse the Niken with the other three wheelers - it will fall over like a normal bike. It will not stay upright if you come to a stop with your feet up.

Echoing all the good wishes from everyone else here - good luck with whatever you decide.

Is it worth checking with the NABD? They may have some ideas.

I'm selling a 900 miles Piaggio MP3 3 wheeled scoot at the mo. It's the 300cc option so may be too much a compromise on power.
