Have to wonder how well Bridewell would have gone if the bike hadn't cried enough....again.
Surprised O'Halloran wasn't closer to the front, maybe the Kawasaki isn't the bike he thought it was going to be.

Good result for the Yamaha riders though but FHO struggling again

Bridewell definitely out performed the bike / team.

If o’halloran can get a result it’s to his credit as the Kawasaki is on a downward spiral.

Anyone know why msv purchased this track ?

It's a typical tiny footprint race track where you just want in a load of corners in a small area , making it hard to overtake.

.
I’d guess because it’s warm and dry more often than not. Probably also relatively cheap compared to uk options.

Not really a fan of the circuit, but it was great to discover it was live on Quest!

Good race that
Really?
I've not really seen much worse boring racing than any of that bilge served up this weekend.
Dreadful boring track, well done msv.

Got to agree that it was a terrible 'follow the leader' procession of races for the superbikes. Although watching it back to back with Assen WSB it was always going to be a bit of a let down.

Not a great circuit which I think didn't help the rather boring racing.

A genius response when I've already watched it laugh

Anyone else feel a bit neutral about the start of the season cos it’s in Spain?

Not sure why but I’m struggling to get into this meeting, usually I can’t wait for the first meeting of BSB. Maybe it’s because of the disjointed coverage too but I’m just a bit meh about it today frown
I'm with you on that ... BSB Vs WSB and track comparisons aside, this first BSB round didn't interest me so much as it was in Spain...

Me too, I watched both of the races yesterday and they were pretty boring, the sound and camera work was also not great and why can't we have onboards in BSB?

Same, it's just a bit remote, little resources in the cameras available I'd guess and build up seemed quiet. As a season opener it felt like what it was. A race after some testing in Spain, felt almost irrelevant except it's the start of the most important domestic Superbike series.

And if there had been a race 3 TB1 would have been pole. Not an engine failure in the last race but a gear linkage.

yeah, the WSBK racing was brilliant.

The contrast made the BSB opener somewhat weak. The track doesn’t appear to provide exciting racing and the picture quality of the broadcast wasn’t good enough. I watched online Discovery+. The picture was especially bad for the first race.

It was HD, looked okay with close ups. But I thought anything from a distance was lacking detail, bad motion blur, blockey and contrast off. It was very noticeable after the high quality picture of the WSBK coverage.

Still enjoyed the BSB. But feel the season really starts at Oulten Park!

Can someone please explain to me how FHO are probably the biggest spenders in BSB but their bikes are crap?
