Nice. Is that a secondary garage hidden in the trees? My double suddenly looks inadequate. hehe

If there is any doubt, definitely don't go for the overtake.

You need to be able to overtake, pull back in within half the space available.

Dave!
Seconded.

Its actually a double with a single across the back of it .

We just demolished an attached single to build a kitchen extension

I WILL NOT overtake if there's a right turning coming up. I will always hold back until the turning opportunity has passed. Was caught out once by an unmarked police car that decided to swing right with no indication whatsoever!*

Think about it, how many crashes/near misses have you had with drivers turning right suddenly! I haven't crashed since (It's been 8 years) and I don't really hang about either. It's the one rule I religiously stick to on the road, and if more did it there would be a huge drop in accidents me recons.......

Not worth it. Looks like there will be plenty of opportunities elsewhere on that road to get past slower-moving traffic.

Having looked at both situations i would not overtake in either.

The first is a cros roads and is far to risky.

The second is less risky but i dont ride 'That' agressivly that i would stay out on the hatchings untill the roundabout (unless filtering past stoped/crawling traffic).
