I think I'll have a go at taking a pillion for the first time. Wish me (or should that be 'her') luck. smile
Feels strange the first time due to the extra weight at the back, the front feels very light. Make sure your passenger leans with you into corners. I've seen some pillions when following behind that lean the opposite way and think they are helping!!

Oh makes for easier wheelies too lol biggrin

haven't taken mine anywhere since September last year, new family member and all that. I'll probably drag it out the garage, clean it, start it, stand there looking at it in a very sombre way and put it back in the garage again.
Not sure having just a trackbike is such a good idea anymore.

Nope, a warp speed blast through France, then 2 weeks of Spanish roads. Poor things did about 4.5K in the end.

They were still doing ok, just had me a bit, erm, nervous...

Blimey, glad you didn't get a blow-out or a tug from BiB, you'd have been screwed then!

4.5K that's not bad, I get 3 if I'm lucky lol.

Hoping to buy my first bike this weekend smile

Had a go in a FZ6 Fazer on Thurday, seemed very quick even under 6000rpm paperbag, and going to have a look at an ER-6n tomorrow. I'm already excited biggrin

rsv gone!

I wore the rear on my R6 like that. I was all set to go out for a spin, too. Prudence got the better of me.

i think theres something wrong with me i havent ridden my bike for about a month apart from one occasion when i had a very boring commute to work on it, i need to take it out for a good blast but i never seem to have the time at the moment and when i do have free time i usually end up doing something else or have a hang over on sunday mornings frown
I did exactly that at the start of this year (except the hangover bit angel ) but then I realised the error of my ways smile
well im going to take the bike out tomorrow(weather permitting) its really strange because as soon as i get on it i love riding it but i forget about it after a while and end up doing other things again

Nothing, unless watching the WSB and MotoGP count.

Not much doing involved, but I did get a call from my dealer today giving me the registration number for my new BMW 800SG so I can insure it ready for Wednesday! Can't wait. bouncebounce

Well the Fazer was excellent; smooth, comfortable, happy to pull even from just under 2k rpm, but preferred the torque and character of the ER-6n. I've paid the deposit and I'll be collecting it next Thurday biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin

The only small problem is the helmet; I ordered a blue Caberg V2R from the local Honda dealer 3 weeks ago, and I don't think its going to arrive this Thursday irked. I've reserved a Silver one of the same size just in case.

Some thieving scrote stole my sh***y dirty oil stained and ripped green canvas bike cover on Friday so went out on the bike today to pick up a nice new one. Had to leave the blackbird out in the rain last night grrrr and open to prying eye. Anyway I've now got top of the range stormex job to protect it now, I can also put my chain through it too to stop it going walkies this time.
