Or is Brands a really boring track to watch bike racing? All geared up to watch the qualifying, but it really wasn't up to much. I understand it was a tad wet here and there, but there didn't seem to be the speed, or the lean angles or dunno what. Just didn't seem to be a very exciting track. Scary for them, I've read...but from my comfy lazy boy, I couldn't get excited. Oh, and that commentator is an idiot!

Its the patchy conditions, plays havoc with the lean angles, especialy out the back of the circuit where they have minimum tv coverage, once back on the Indy the only 2 real huge lean angle corners are Druids and Surtees, both crap after a shower, we did the Brands GP circuit on the 21st and its plent quick enough, just dont think the tv cameramen are having a great day either due to position or direction.

You have to come and watch it there. Got back an hour ago and having been to a few circuits it's a fantastic place to watch live, but I agree it's not so spectacular on through the tube. Many of the camera placements do not convey the true demands of the circuit very well . . .

I like Brands (and especially Donington), Silverstone is the worst place for watching bike racing. At least you can get close to the action at brands, however I'm not going tomorrow as I think WSB (and MotoGP) have got too greedy in the UK and are not worth the money anymore ....

I've been to a few circuits over the last 25 years and Brands and Laguna Seca are still my favourites. I didn't see the TV coverage today but will video tomorrow, maybe the cameras aren't doing it justice. Try driving round Brands though, it's a lot harder than it looks...

I have one of the officila WSB photographers staying at my flat this weekend, check out www.copeimages.com and see his historic galleries, and judging by some of his pics from today we have just been through I can safely say the TV crews are doing it no justice, some truly awesome lean angles smile
