What did it hold?
Litres or gallons, whichever.

Only, i just bought another small motorbike as a restoration project and i cannot believe how little this thing takes, from bone dry empty, to overflowing.

Well in 1972, my Honda C50 used to fill up on 60p. Ok that's probably about 35 quid now but it was seriously bugger all then.. about a gallon IRC hehe

This little 1969 Velo Solex holds 3 pints, from empty to full.

Maybe not the smallest tank, but my TL1000s could empty it in about 80 miles in "loud" mode...

My old Mille managed a crowd pleasing 75 miles at Snetterton.

Similarly my VTR1000 could have the low fuel light on after 60 miles and probably be totally out by 80, but the smallest tank I had was a twist-n-go scooter which held about 2L yet would travel about the same distance as the VTR on a tankful, only at a considerably lesser pace...

But I've got a 60cc kids motocrosser in the garage that holds a little over a litre - does that count?

My old RGV would emtpy a tank in 80 miles too, as would my KMX200, whereas the Runner200 I use for work will hit 135 on two gallons...

My tuned 1972 Kawasaki H1 would do circa 50 miles on a tankful at Brands Hatch.

I've ridden many small bikes in Thailand that only take about 2 litres and probably cover 50-60 miles or more on that.
