awrite folks,av got a tl1000,but a wee bit curious its got a ticking sound when its running other than that it sounds fine is this normal for a tl

is it a new sound that it didn't have before. they can be fairly 'top endy' sounding..

normal sounds are injectors and valvetrain noise

no this ticking has been there since i got it about 2 months ago but it hasnt got any worse and doesnt affek the performance

My Sv1000 (similar engine) made a ticking noise from the fuel injectors. Not a problem, they all do that sir!

Yep sounds like injectors My TL the injectors are quite noticeable (especially without a lid or earplugs..)

Obviously i cant hear your engine 1st hand but if you are worried pop by a trusted mechanic or a bike meet and im sure someone will put your mind at rest...
