This afternoon I successfully replaced my front indicators all by myself!

Also topped up oil, lubed chain, washed off bird poo and applied glittery PH sticker biggrin

Just off to look for a foot pump...

Get yourself a small digital pressure guage from the bike shop or a motorist shop and use that. If you get a small one, you can keep it under your seat.

Even when you use Tesco's pump, check it with your gauge.

As you go from forecourt to forecourt, the pumps vary quite a lot. Using your gauge will keep your tyres constant

bks!!!! Just got kitted up to go for a ride, bloody battery is flat! Must have run down when I had the light on farting about, was only 10 mins at the most!
Suspect I need a new battery, it went flat 4-5 times before I passed my test and was sat in the garage. (Only chatted about this last week with Mr Randle)

Do you use your bike regularly?

If you don't, it might be worth your while investing in an Optimate. It will prevent that happening in the future.

I've got a charger, but I can't use an optimate - bike lives outside miles from a power source frown

Thats pretty punky! I have a new battery, also bought some bike shine, foot pump and eyed up the Haynes manual.

They're so nice in our bike shop biggrin

Off to do some more tinkering, with a bit of luck I'll get a ride before it gets dark .... ooooh err!
