What a difference a day makes.
Practice practice practice................. u turns
yup, they went well, worked every time, went for a real ride out to Maidstone, Tonbridge and Swanley and Mottingham.....via a few bike shops
Still on the 125 but should get my first taste of a 500, will see how it works out and Im sure the instructors will make sure I take the right test.
Arms and wrists ache and neck, but very happy indeed, great ride out and what ever happens its all a good experience.
Roll on tomorrow.
Thing that made me laugh today in the bike shop, the bloke serving said " are you the instructor?"

My instructor had me take the 125 for a few days hire before I got on the 500, it was fine though.
Enjoy the vino, I just popped out for another bottle
When I was a baby dental nurse I went with my tutor to a secure institue to see the mental patients and the security rang the surgery to ask if I was a patient too
Not quite as flattering! lol!

Heh - you are in my area - are you using Kent & Sussex rider training? They got me through my DAS and my girlfriend through her CBT. Good bunch of guys.
Don't fancy riding through Maidstone town centre on Saturday though - went there last Saturday to get some kit from Laguna bike shop before picking up my CBR600 (first sports bike, haven't ridden for years) and it was hairy enough in a car, let alone a bike. The one way system is a nightmare. Then again, if you're following an instructor you won't get lost!!!
I'm praying to the weather gods tonight because I want to go out on my new toy this weekend to get as much practice as possible, so I'll bung an additional sacrifice in for you.
(oh yeah, if you're taking the test at Tunbridge Wells test centre like I did, then my story about the manhole cover on the right turn on the hill on the main road in Southborough past the leisure centre applies big style - if it's wet then don't ride over it... I did on my test day and the bike slipped out from under me, luckily I stayed on and carried on to pass, but it's one of those flat shiny ones that are like ice when wet)
