I wouldn't trust the seller with zero feedback. Sounds like one of them Nigerian scams. I mean, where's anybody gonna find bikes like that? If they weren't so rare it'd be more believable laugh

Wouldn't mind a poke at that oval piston job. Wonder what it goes like.

That last one is stunning. So, is it road legal? I'm guessing as there is no speedo it's not, but apart from that? Also, what kind of power/talky things would this put out?

rp, the sound of the nr is unbeleivable, bursts ear drums at a qurter of a mile (imagine a rc45 crossed with haydens gp bike)

and chilli, yes they are road legal, i dont now if it currently has mot but wow, buy one of them instead of the rattly 1098, i have never ridden the nr but from people that have, it was a strange thing to ride, never really caught on though due to the massive price tag, honda made a huge loss on every single one sold, like vw/bugatti with the veyron

and the mint rc45......yum, not to mention pure tt winning pedigree in the jim moddie rc.

The Jim Moodie bike is the one for me. From the ebay description it sounds like it's only done just over a lap of the Island.

"The last Senior TT of the century started with a bang when Jim Moodie, on his Honda UK RC45, smashed the seven-year-old absolute lap record from a standing start in 18 m 11.4 s - 124.45mph - to lead David Jefferies on the V&M R1 Yamaha by 8.1 seconds, with Joey Dunlop in third place on his RC45.

Jim Moodie's race only lasted to Ballig Bridge on lap two when he retired with a shredded rear tyre. Jefferies, with a second lap at 123.69mph, took over the lead from Dunlop, with Dunlop slotting into third.

At half distance the leader board read - Jefferies, Lougher, Nigel Davies, Dunlop, Duffus and McGuinness. Changes, except at the front, on lap four - Jefferies led from Duffus, Dunlop and Griffiths. Lap five saw Jefferies leading by almost a minute from Lougher who was followed by Duffus, Davies, Dunlop and Griffiths.

David Jefferies joined the elite band of riders to win three TT Races in a week, as he crossed the line with arm raised in victory, a gesture that possibly cost him the new race record for the Senior, he was just 0.2 seconds outside it. Iain Duffus and Ian Lougher completed the top three, with Nigel Davies, Joey Dunlop and Jason Griffiths taking the remaining leader board places."

What do you reckon the NR will sell for. What a great looking machine cloud9

Out of interest what shape were the pistons: spam tin or proper ovoid?

ETA and how do you get the piston rings on without snapping them?

a couple of those lots look very desirable indeed.
but a lot are non runner replica machines with no pedigree and worth nothing other than parts.
the nr750 is a bit "sell the house"

agreed, some of them are just basic cbr600's with race bodywork, but some have actual race pedigree!

According to the new listing on ebay the NR750 is up to £27,469.13 at the mo and it still hasn't made the reserve. I think the RVF is sat at £13K under a new listing also.
