So that'll ahnd Pedrosa 2nd place in the title, leaving Stoner languishing in 3rd then?

Injured, with a totally new race (not qualli) tyre, on the pneumatic valve Honda which doesn't suit his style , or I would have thought the circuit , the little fella produces an incredible lap time.
Awesome news which should spice up the rest of the season, Dani FTW.

It will be good to have Pedrosa at the sharp end of the race again.. These last few races have relied on Stoner and Rossi for thrills but when one falls it has left the rest of teh race a little flat.

Christ, that'd be as terrible as Rossi last year. I hope he can avoid that.

Can't really see how that means he's going to be any more competitive - who else was on the same tyre that is comparatively quick and how many laps did he put in at that pace?

Both Rossi and Stoner managed 1.34.9s on raceday, pushing to the limit in similar conditions, both having plenty of practice on bike and tyres previously.

Be interesting to see how easily DP adapts to making right tyre choice for race distance.

It kind of reinforces Rossi's decision to press for Bridgestones though at start of season.

Was Ped on a race Bridgestone though? Without looking Stoner and Rossi got way down into 33's on qualifiers?

He was doing 6-8 laps per run, mainly so changes to be made to the setup making it more to his liking I suppose. The time wasn't done on a qualifying tyre.
