I'm struggling to choose a 2nd charity for my Oz trip, the rally charity is No More Landmines, these guys are doing some incredible work.

I've been fortunate, in a way, that I lost my Grandparents to old age not some terrible disease and nothing else has really touched my family.

I've just done an online search and I'm astounded the nearest childrens hospice to here is Kinross!!
http://www.childhospice.org.uk/hospicelisting.asp?...

I'm totally stumped, there are SO many worthwhile causes out there, how can I chose something?
I don't expect there to be a huge amount (if anyone wants to prove me otherwise give me a shout), but I want what I have to make a difference.

Any suggestions?

Riders for health?

Isn't there also a charity that people pay to ride bikes to somewhere in Africa and the bikes are used by local doctors to help the isolated tribes people?

I should have worded the title better really, anything close to you guys? Anything at all. Mainly small places where you can make a difference and it doesnt get swallowed up smile

I found a website a few months ago called 'Intelligent Giving'. It had a relly good analysis of a load of different charities... i.e how they spent their money (% spent on admin / spent on their cause). I found it really useful.

Found the link: http://www.intelligentgiving.com/

Although completely unrelated to BB, I would go for RNLI... but I am biased, because I am a Lifeboat Crew Member...
