Now is a great time to look at buying an R6. I have been speaking to dealers across the country and have managed to get the price down to £6,700 with extras chucked in. Etc.. Datatool alarm, Crash bobbins, Tail tidy, first service, and 4 years 0% finance.

How does a race fairing kit differ to the normal fairing? is it lighter and more aerodynamic or just easier to remove so one can change bits on the bike?
Normally fibre glass and about a third of the price. Also no lights or indicators to smash. I'm currently watching ebay for a set for mine with the idea of swapping them over the day before a trackday

i'm at a loose end this weekend so am considering taking an R6 out for a test ride
I'm up for a run out if the weathers ok. I've been spending far to much time on the KTM so I'm not sure I'll remember how to ride on tarmac

Now, supposing I had £6500 cash sitting in a high interst account earning 8%, I would earn approximately £1680 over three years.

I'll be making money by buying the bike! wink ok, I know that's not actually true, but it makes me feel better! biggrin
WHERE can I get this deal ? I've got 30K in an Isa and I can't get that return, before tax.

The Icelandic banks were offering these sorts of rates. That was before the credit crunch though. Not sure if they're still available though
