now I dont really know much about Kawasaki, mainly know honda.
anyway what im wondering is what are the zzr600's like. im not talking about newish ones, used around the 1000 pound mark or less for a winter hack or if its any good full time use/commuting.
mainly used for just normal driving i.e not pushing too much 'trying' to stick to speed limits
not cornering too hard and just general dawlerling around, but also its good to know if they can fly and corner well if you feel the need to push it.
Im talking about the ones from 1993 - 1999 models.

those thundercats look alright actually.
they any good though?
as i can get insurance on a fireblade for around 500 quid. might get one of those,
i know people will say that i will kill my self. but in all honesty, the throttle is in my hand and i should only use as much as i feel comftable, untill i have gained extra skill

A mate replaced his GPZ500 with one (he also has an NC30, SV650S & a Pan) & said it was very quick in a straight line but not a b-road bike as the handling wasn't the best. Personally, I think they look wicked, go a treat and they're ideal if you're quite short
For £1000, it's gonna be a few years old. Therefore the rear shock will probably need replacing/refurbing and the front fork oil will need changing (never gets done at a dealer service even though they say they've done it). The handlind should be fine if the suspension is back to how it should be.Gassing Station | Biker Banter | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
