Another vote for the Caberg Justy GT here.
Frankly I can't see why all helmet manufacturers can't include an internal flip up sun visor.
It's so obvious & easy to use -especially in alternate light conditions, it saves carrying spares and this eternal debate about clear vs dark.
(plus you can ride around with main visor up & still keep sun visor down for a bit of air..) JMHO
Mind you-this morning any visor was a bloody nuisance riding to work in light fog & every few seconds having to clear water off it...

I thought the reason they do not put it on is because it makes that top area/forehead area not quite as strong as just solid material. makes sense to me anyway and I don't think i would buy one.Frankly I can't see why all helmet manufacturers can't include an internal flip up sun visor.

Tip of the week from the Bike Cop I just done my "Ride to Arrive" course with.......Buy an "E" marked light tint visor and then use a tinted pinlock with it to make it darker. Most coppers are ignorant of the law that says the visor is then illegal because the "E" marked visor has been technically modified.

The lever is made of very brittle plastic - mine has broken off around its fixing screw. I'm going to build a replacement out of metal if I don't get a response from Caberg. Not best pleased but as always, ya gets what ya pays for...!
I just bought the new Arai Dean Thomas Lid and looking for a Light smoke visor.
I currenty have the stock visor on with the Anti fog lense put in.
Never thought the Anti fog insert would work but its great and puts me off getting a tinted visor.
On my old lid i have the tinted visor on perminantly, day or night as its a very light tint.

Dark visors are a safety aid not a hindrance, whatever the law says on this is wrong, personally my eyes are very sensitive to bright light and if I wear a clear visor in bright daylight my eyes run and I struggle to see and so would be more likely to crash, sunglasses under a clear visor is a poor alternative for many reasons.
Same here, I get headaches in bright light (also burn really badly, have little tolerance for the sun!). I've tried sunglasses but they're crap. Now I just go for the darkest visor available and wear it in everything bar torrential rain and darkness. There is a reactolite visor insert available but it only goes to a light tint (same as the glasses) and it wasn't dark enough for me.
If I intend to do a long run or might be out when it gets dark I'll carry a clear visor too.
Anyone use yellow visors for bad weather?

I use a dark one in daylight unless it's very overcast. Always carry a clear one though.
Agree the law is stupid. You can legally wear sunglasses, but if you suddenly go in to a dark tunnel or treeline I can lift my visor and see, if I was wearing sunglasses I'd have to stop, take off my prescription sunglasses and put on my clear prescription glasses. Which one's more likely to happen?
I've been wearing black visors for years (apart from a few years with a nice blue irridium) and never once been stopped for it so I reckon the police generally think the same thing. As long as you're not wearing one and night you've got to be bloody unlucky to get done for it. Mind you I have road leagal cans and plate, if you get stopped for them and you've also got a dark visor on they might decide to do you for that as well.
