Good garages SW London/Surrey area?

My lady's Kawasaki ZZR250 needs the valve clearances done and unfortunately Doing it myself will not be an option at the moment due to my injury which is really inhibiting my dexterity - not the best handicap when you're faffing with valves.

We live in Leatherhead and she works in Wandsworth, so somewhere around this area/route would be great. Any recommendations for someone who'd do this properly and not rip us off?

Have used Mac Motorcycles in Tooting for my MOT's for years, and recently Mitzy took her bike for repairs there.

Not the most technically advanced workshop you are going to find, but this is made up for with their enthusiasm and very fair prices.

I'd recommend www.fwr.co.uk. not a million miles from wandsworth (I worked there for 7 years) and they'll give you a free loan bike too if you show them your license. Their main business is tyres and mail order tyres but they also do servicing work too with some good mechanics. Used them for years to do all mine, only do work that needs doing and do a good job too, hourly rates/prices good too.

I didn't realise they did servicing as well.

I must have been there for tyres at least half a dozen times.

I have just taken my bike to Mac's for its MOT. I would endorse the above. I Would certainly take my bike there for routing stuff.

Thanks very much for all these, I shall keep them in mind. After a quote (120 quid minimum!) we have decided that we should do it together (she can be my broken hand!) and save the cash.
