Just interested in what you guys & girls use, and any horror stories where you've secured your bike and they've been pinched furious
4 month old K7 GSX-R600, last September...

Alarm, tracker, disc lock, Almax series 3 chain to a ground anchor that was concreted into a 50kg concrete block (common parking area), bike cover, wedged between my car (on one side) and a prickly-type hedge (other side, and rear) so it's damn awkward to get at.

Didn't stop them dragging it out and lifting it into a truck (probably one with a lift attached. Absolute minimum 3-man job, 2 for the bike and 1 for the concrete block.

Never found it.

I should've ignored the fact it was a common area and concreted in that ground anchor anyway!

Needless to say - despite other comments - I won't be revealing where the new bike is kept now, nor what security it/its surroundings has...

If somebody wants to steal something they will!
Mines in a garage which has security lights, a tractor parked in front of it, it's joined to the house (the garage).
Electric coded gates, CCTV on the gates & 3 cars parked in front of the garage, im sure if they wanted it they'd get it somehow!
At work our carpark is covered by about 4 security cameras, still didnt stop the pikey scum living near by breaking into one of the company cars!
Wehn the bikes parked in town, its always parked under a CCTV camera, its parked against a wall, then a car parked in front of it (if im out with mates).
Its then disc locked & chained with a fking heavy chain!

My bike has a Datatool alarm but I have been looking at chains and ground anchors. I was put off after I read the recent group test in Ride Magazine. They were so disappointed in every product tested that they didn’t even bother to award there normal “Best Buy” or “Recommended “ tags! I cannot remember all the details now but they seem to only deter the opportunist.
