got my cbt tomoro, and im undesided to what bike i want, was thinking about getting the bog standard like a CG125 or GS125, but now i dont really like the look of them.

have been thinking of getting a tzr125 or cbr125 but dont really know what there like.

as the cbr is a 4 stroke and the tzr is a 2 stroke, im guessing the cbr is better for reliability.

but what is the turning circle like on the cbr125 as i dont really want to be taking a million attempts to do a U turn like in austin powers

didnt really want one of those, bit too pricy and bad with reliablity, plus its 2 stroke and sounds like a bee in a jam jar whereas the cbr is 4 stroke and doesnt sound to bad.

as is i will only be having this bike for a month or so.

if your only having it for a month why not use your trainers bikes, you can normally hire them out. Then buy a bigger bike once you've done your DAS (im assuming thats what your doing)

because hireing a bike out for a month will cost quite a bit, probably around what i could get a second hand bike for.

if i buy i will get moneys back from selling it whereas hiring i will get nothing but experiance.

Either way sounds pricey. I didn't have a bike, and I didnt do the DAS. I just booked lessons, had about 7 or 8, booked the test and passed. I think that probably worked out cheaper than the DAS itself let alone the cost of buying and running a bike.

hmmm, well i might book up my DAS after doing my cbt, and then get that out the way as soon as, to then insead of buying, insuring, riding and then selling a 125 just save the money from doing that and get a cheapish 600,

zzr600 they any good?? got a cheapish one going near me.

I've heard that there good on the straights but not too good on the twistys

What have you been told about harping on about that SRAD? Eh? Nobodies interested. We don't like 'em.

Get something cr*p like a CG or GS125. They are all slow and you are likely to drop it anyway. Winter is coming. CG's sell easily and hold their money if you are buying one and end up running it through winter.

It is virtually impossible to look cool on any 125, and completely impossible to look cool if you are over 13 stone on a 125 - so why bother going the 'cool' route. Just go reliable cheap and easy to fix if you drop it. Pass the DAS and then get something you really want.
