I've stood next to the Triumph Rocket with the 2.3 litre engine (WTF?) at my local bike shop (didn't fancy sitting on it, wouldn't be albe to pick it up if I slid on the shiny floor and dropped it...) and it looked utterly enormous. The girlfriend loved it, said it looked really comfy. I'll bet with a 2.3 litre engine and all that torque it's a beast that'll shove the locked front wheel along the ground and scare the crap out of you...

You must be one of these outsized body builder types to need a 'bigger' bike than that Rocket thing.
I had a Kawasaki 1300 back in the eighties, hell of a beastie, 720lbs apparently. I could lay it down on its side and pick it up on my lonesome with no massive effort. It is not like you are lifting the whole weight of the bike at once.
You must be built like Arnold Schzartzeneger..

Talking of USA V8 engines.
I recently saw something with 4 tuned 5.7 Chevvy engines!
Circa 2000 bhp!
Mickey Thompson built one 30 years ago, did 420mph at Bonneville.
This was a speed boat at Cannes!

When i was doing some work for MCN, the (1979) Z1300 was launched and i had the pleasure of riding the first ever bike to enter the UK.
It felt huge but was dead easy to ride, i found.

Having done some trans-atlantic calling, i know of only ONE Boss Hoss 502 that has had all the best options ticked, including the 615 cubic inch conversion.
It resides in New Jersey, it's owner having paid $52,000 for the bike and a further $26,000 for mods. and options.
But HOW mad is;

615 cubic inches. (10.1 litres).
747 bhp.
838 lbs-ft.
A quite amazing 500+ lbs-ft at 1,750 rpm.
550 kgs.
150 mph in 1st gear.
300 mph (in theory) in 2nd gear.

Forget the speed, forget the figures, forget the price tag, just imagine smoking that rear tyre at will, at any speed, with a mere flick of the throttle. cloud9

I gonna get me one when I win the Lotto. biggrin

Or maybe the Russian version....

Here's a cool video if you are into mega powered bikes, put it on 'full screen', crank up the volume:

It brings a new meaning to the expression...

Never mind the direction, just feel the power hehe

The russian bike looks cool to me, what motor is it, wolga ?
The front swingarm seems good & functional, not Lazareth, but, hey, homebuilt !
What about the double swingarm in the back, parallel suspension (?),
and there is an extra damper between the two swingarms ?
Where is the radiator on the solo version ?
Looks better in black, almost playmobil in (benetton?) colors.
regards,
Benni

Maybe up the front, above the steering head? Looks a bit small, unless it is a heater? hehe

That does look rather like a parallelogram swinging arm set-up at the back. Not sure why he'd do that, but maybe just for the hell of it?
