In no particular order I love . . .

A Sunday morning thrash

A gentle evening 'bimble' (is that a word?!)

Talking bikes and general bks with biking mates

Sitting in the sun with a bike mag

Hooning around a track

Pistonheads BB

Watching others hoon around a track

Wheelies

Having a few pints at the pub while watching bike racing on the tv

Disappearing for a few hours into the countryside with no specific route

A real road trip

Admiring my beast after it's had a good clean and polish (ooer!)

Planning the next toy purchase

Backfires

Riding in pouring rain (it always makes me giggle like an idiot for some reason)

Planning modifications and upgrades

Dirt-biking (even though I'm crap)

Visiting the local bike shop!

No longer having a car

Riding in a pack

Riding solo

Hmmm . . . that'll do for now! Am I a biker?!
Hmmm i think you passed the test hehe

I have never really been one for massive speed on the road or track - it scares me too much but I do like fair to middling speed (which would be insane to most car drivers).

I love the sound of bikes - twin, triple IL4 - they're all great in most incarnations.

I love the thrill of acceleration and the wind tugging at my jacket.

Most of all though, I love knowing that I've got a bike and if I ever need to I can throw some luggage on it, pack a credit card and just head off to mountains and forest, rain and sun and hit the road...whether I ever will is a different matter - but the possibility exists.

The ultimate bike for me would be an Egli Vincent, Norvin, or Triton, but the potential unreliability scares me.
there be cafe racer kits for the new trumpets out & about, look pretty good too. that'd solve the 60s/70s bodgery type faults at least.
Yes indeed. That is my plan. Triumph Truxton, endurance tank and mono seat from The Tank Shop, and then the careful removal/relocation of as many parts as I can get away with ;-)

You can also buy a brand new Egli Vincent, but they are seriously expensive

sounds a good plan & those twins have plently of torque which would be ideal to play in london with. decent pipes etc & they even sound like a real trumpet yes
i cant think of something much more fun, which is why i'll never sell my 1977 bonnie. shes slightly modded to look like a flat tracker & isnt exactly quiet biggrin brilliant fun if not actually fast. mine needs an oil cooler to really play in town though, but its on the list of things to fit eventually.
