Hello Guys,

I see on here from time to time the older folk talking about the bikes of their youth and then going out and buying some lovely looking 2 stroke from when they were a lad.

So, it got me thinking, what are the normal bikes out there at the moment that will be "Classic" in 20 years time.

Most Sports 600 and Litre bikes are already forgotten about once they reach 1 year old as they are outdated (Possible exception 2004 ZX10R and ZX636R B1h)

Then you've got the Honda SP1/SP2 but even these are looking fat and slow and less pretty than I remembered.

So, have bikes become too disposible now and get forgotten about too quickly or are there some long term Gems out there ?

Call me biased but I've heard it said that the K5/K6 Thou will become more desirable in the future.

Major update from the K3/K4, and the nice tidy version before the K7 onwards got all bloated and tatty looking, plus those twin cans..... eek

Yeah, the RS250 is nice.

K5 is a good example of a very fine 1000CC. I guess what might make them classic is when they stop producing such powerful machines.
