I have a got a GS125 for a couple of months till I can afford a bigger bike and want to modify it just because parts are so cheap and its something for me to do on days off.
Few ideas in my head but one thing bothers me. The exhuast, I have worked on 2t engines for a few years and understand that they need backpressure and expansion chambers for best performance etc.
Now, the exhaust I have in mind converts this to and underseat exhuast with a silencer from a 250 or similar.
My plan at the moment is to cut the current conical silencer off so it is just a pipe with the same ID and weld another tube up and under the seat and attatch a silencer.
Is this ok with regards to engine performance?
Any other ideas you guys have that would look good on this bike.
