I really like it... do we have any idea of a price yet?
I think I heard between £12-£14k.
Christ. I'll be in the market for one of those or an rsv4 in about 5 years time on the second hand market then wink
I'd have the RSV4 every day of the week.... lovely looking bike.

A bit radical for BMW .. but hey it looks quite nice.

Silly question though - where will they fit the top box ?

Is it me or does it look like a cross between a Triumph 675 and a new Honda Fireblade?
Well that was first impressions anyway.

To be honest i was expecting something a bit 'different'. BMW normally go about tackling the same problem down a slightly different path.

Bit underwhelmed to be honest.

£12-£14k for what seems to be a cloned Japanese bike with a German badge is way too expensive. If BMW had utilise more of it's own unique technology such as the suspension system from the K12/1300S, maybe a sporty light weight shaft drive etc it would be differentiated from the other litre bikes out there but a potential £5-£6k premium is far too much.

I agree - it looks like they included all the anonymous bits from the Kawasukiha range and hey presto something nonedescript with a tank finished in primer to boot.I presume the painted tank is on the options list.
Not a good look when Kawa, Yam, Suzi and Honda have each arived at a unique look!

It could look good if they paint it, or is that an optional extra?! biggrin

Actually I quite like the look of it, although it's a bit too angular and fussy-looking for my tastes. It'll be interesting to see how it performs on the road as price-wise it's pitched against some very tasty machinery.
