Mudguard is an original on UK bikes. Hardly ever see them now because most have long since rusted to oblivion. US bikes got short or no mudguard.
Know what you mean though, combination of "racey" pipes and somewhat "conservative" rear end does perhaps look a bit odd.

I think you need to wait until you have a numberplate on the rear before making a judgement.

I bet it will sound ace with those pipes but it's a shame I prefer the look of the original "megga" shape ones on all the KH triples. They also had their own distinctive sound.

Too bland - looks like a track fairing.
