Removed the Tour Pack from the old Black Throbber as I never use it and fitted a new seat.

I'd like if it didn't have a bucket on it's head. Currently considering such a machine next year, I've never had the spurtsbike bug.

Do you mean the wind shield or the fairing Hooli? You can get lower profile screens but I've tried them and they just deflect the wind right into your (or rather, my) face and it tries to lift my helmet off.

HD Adam said: Do you mean the wind shield or the fairing Hooli? Both  If/when I get that sort of beast it'll have nowt on it as wind protection. I don't need any on my GSX14 so won't on one of them. I dunno why but the Dynas seem to look the most 'bike like' to my eyes.

Personally, I like the fairing and where else would the stereo go for riding choons?  The Dyna feels like a completely different thing to the Glide and it's obviously a lot more nimble. The strange thing about HD's is what looks right and what feels right are two entirely different things, well they are to me anyway. Go and test ride all the different models before you splash out. Dealer open days are good for this and they all have them during the summer.

That's why HD get away with selling a half finished bike for three times it's worth & then getting you to spend 50% more on mods to finish it off!

Saw one of these today at the bike shop, lovely bike - 'Classic' model IIRC. You can see over the dials, the dials are cool like in a aeroplane!

I changed the screen because the top of the old one was right in my eyeline but I can see over the new one whilst it still deflects air over me. For Vince, it's a 2003 Anniversary Electra Glide Classic. It should have the big top box and armchair seat but I have removed them, hence the picture. This is how it looked originally

Spent last week stuck in the house due too an infection in my stump, second time doctor came out she cut the end of my stump with a scalpel, then stuck a needle into it when that didn't work. She got around an egg cup full out. This was an hours or so after she left.  I lost my balance last Saturday when my leg was bad and caught my good leg on a metal bracket.  Out of the wheelchair yesterday and a 280 mile run on the bikes around the boarders today.
