lets try something we do on a couple of other forums and always works well, pretty much EVERYONE has got a cameraphone so everyone can get involved IF they like

it is easy, just take a picture of something from your day and post it up

the picture doesnt have to be bike related just something YOU have taken yourself

lets see some pictures from YOUR day

Ok, technically I took this two days ago...

Popped around my friends house only to find this at his front gate!

Some local scally had beaten and stabbed another to death outside my friends house. He's not happy about it, but I said hey, you didn't know you had a phyco killer in the street, but at least now he's going to get banged up for 25 years.

I'm going to like this thread, I take pics everyday of the things I see (first murder)

What an interesting idea,

Well here is my picture, taken whilst wandering around site at work, can anybody spot the problem?

I will post another *cough* interesting shot tomorrow...

Bottle doesn't look to be secured. That rope should be nowhere near it. There should be a harness/tether/something securing the hose to the bottle in case it blows off. Oh, and not going to start on the other stuff...

Wher are you, Bob?

Is it the wire instead of a jubilee clip around the pipe?

Oh, and there is no way that hose is rated for the pressure of the bottle.

It's that bit of sellotape & string joining the scaffolding poles together wink

I just spotted that too. It's fuel hose isn't it ? I thought gas had to be run through braided/dual core rubber type stuff.

Wow, didn't realise I'd get such a response!

Welcome to Russia folks! The pipe is actually a flexible water pipe that has been connected to the bottle with a bit of wire, there is a crappy little strap holding the bottle in place, the pipe was actually badly kinked and restricting the flow of gas too.

As for the scaffolding, that is even worse...

I have loads of pictures like this of all sorts of things that I see everyday, I'll post another 'HSE disaster waiting to happen' tomorrow if you want.

At least it makes life interesting!

Hard to tell, but may be an acetylene bottle, looking at the fitting on the end of the hose seems to have the mark around it, not sure either whether the hose should be rated for the hose, or regulator pressure, mind when the regulator fails. Either way, it doesn't pass kit muster in my book.
