Hi smile

Got my MotoGP weekend tickets a couple of days ago, with the Woodlands weekend camping pass. It's appears to say we get a pitch area to include 1 car, says bikes aren't allowed to be on the campsite, and there's a car pass for the alotted camping car parks. I've camped at Silverstone before (at Litchfield and Whittlebury where both sites allowed you to park up by your tent) but don't recall ever seeing a Woodlands camp site in existence. Is it new for this year?

Anyone been to this campsite before?

Nope, but a bit of an oversight for them to say no bikes, when a large proportion of people going to this event are likely to be bikers.

The bikes, from what I've read, have a patrolled secure car park - I guess the thinking is that late night/early morning noise would upset many of the other campers...and you can't get too much camping gear on a bike anyway.

You can leave your bikes on the campsite but do so at your own risk- the organisers advise you have them securely locked up.
