As high as 33 on the front. Am I wrong running 27 on the rear and 30 on front? Super corsa road compound. ste inters rider
I find 30 hot makes it harder to steer. Try a wee bit more.

GWM, those are proper wets. I was just checking as I'm sure Michelin do a pilot road tyre.

IIRC, I was 32/32 cold with the Michelin wets but it's been 3 years since I last used them. Ask the tyre guy on the day what they reccomend.

I think 29 cold is far too high for supercorsa's. I use 27 hot and its spot on.
Ok thanks. I don't have tyre warmers as yet, so am I safe to go with 31 front and 25 rear for cold pressures? Then I can adjust to the hot pressures when I come in from my first session?

off the warmers I run 2.3F 1.75R (36F- 25)on Metzeler Racetec K2 slicks. Lower than 2.3 and the front feels a bit woolly as Neil says. After 1st session I want to see 2.4 to 2.5F at Redstar which doesn't have any FAST corners. Somewhere like Phakisa which is mooi fast I'll start lower but still aim for the same final pressures.

Just realised , the last track day I did was on 16.5 inch slicks with tyre warmers .
Havent the foggiest clue of what to do with a 2015 r1 on road tyres, 17s etc this week . Should I take warmers ( they fit , I've tried them )? Or is that cockademus and pliers ? Sorry to ask the bleeding obvious but to be fair I haven't had a "stupid question thread" for a couple of days now .

Should I still do 31 front 29 rear cold ?

If you've got a tire guy at the track day, he's a great resource to ask about pressures.

Yes, that's fine. You always get the tyre hotter off the track than the warmer so always good to check
