This is a Troll thread, right?

One of the most "iconic" 50's ever and you're asking if we've ever heard of it?

Nice try...
Anyone else notice that our OP hasn't been back yet?

Piaggio Zip SP with the Malossi MHR Kit.

25bhp / 100 mph
I had the MHR Kit on my NRG I lost my bottle at 85 on the clocks thing was an animal even with a yasuni c16 pipe on it. Trouble is can spend over 1k on an engine to get to a true 20bhp+ I searched on ebay for used parts etc... and still cost me like £6/700 for mine and I think was running around 18bhp to be honest needed a better ignition and pipe but decided to stop spending money at that point.
Works out about £100 / bhp for a proper engine, mental though!

Are you want a moped as a first motorbike or just because you cant get a car yet? If the latter is the case what about a Piaggio Ape? You could probably teach yourself to drive in one of them and never have to take a driving lesson. Otherwise, an RS50 if you care about the peformance, an NSU Quickly or a Puch Maxi if not.

Just to clarify. If the MOPED is "R" Suffix or earlier no speed limits apply. Hence you can get an FS1E SS50ZNB2 or AP50 from that era without worrying about 30 MPH limits. If your mechanical skills are up to it Gilera, Garelli, Malaguti and Fantic produced some screamers. The fastest of the lot was the Fantic Caballero and Ti reputedly hitting 70mph.

went to the classic motor/motorbike show today and saw a mint yamaha fs1. i turn 16 next year and wondered if you could recommend me something the same style as that. remember it must be a 50cc!

for those of you who may not know what a yamaha fs1 is, heres a pic:

I've just checked your profile and it says 14 years old on there.scratchchin

If you want a FS1E there's no reason why you shouldn't go for it, you can restore one which wouldn't be a problem apart from time or money or you could buy a restored one for a couple of grand.
