Ade, saw the list with Werner, Klaudio, Benny, Eddie etc. in addition to the UK crew so I will make every effort to pop in, say hello and watch some burning of rubber. Havn't seen Tony's new addition yet so that will be a bonus.

The weather is good for taking the bike, James has agreed to have the pager cover so just need to change a few meetings and I'm sorted.
Excellent!
With this many Vipers all racin at the same time, looks like this private "by invitation only" event could be a UK first - see you there. thumbup

Hi Guys,

Madmax is a great El Pres and this event sounds a blast, I wish all of you the very best for this trackday fun and I hope that all of you have as much fun as I know I would have.

I shan't be with you on Friday as at present I have some pretty serious health issues I need to fight, one of which is losing my sight in my right eye, makes bollards and gates a bh to get through.

Please apologize on my behalf to my German friends and I hope to be back driving with you all soon or worse, porn star might be!!

Don’t forget, drivers for both North Weald and Santa Pod will need to have your driving licences and crash helmets (full or half face).
Any passengers will also need crash helmets.
Long sleeve clothing is a person preference. thumbup

Sorry to have ducked out - figured out what was wrong - got sent the wrong size rubber (35 Vs 30 - been told there is nothing they can do about it! FFS!)

Enjoy the pictures, great to have met everyone.

(Yes, I'm sad enough to take pictures of my own car! biggrin )

Thanks all for such a great day out. I really enjoyed seeing everyone today and am so pleased I made that seemingly ridiculous decision to buy one of these cars which allowed me to meet you all.

Hope you all have a great day tomorrow!

well the smokes cleared, I'm starting to feel less dizzy and the cone has been fully removed from the front of the car with no ill effects. Great day out, still got a lot to learn though, cant blame it all on the bumps and hard suspension

Ade, thank you tons for organising this, and everyone else that was there... and made the day a good one. thumbup
Pleased I was able to join you all at the air field and enjoy the cars (bike) and company. Also the VCA Germany club visitors, bringing a well sorted MK1 Capri and Brock Cobra Coupe, the very best of taste cloud9
I also enjoyed the flyby of my favourite helicopter, cheers Ade for sorting that for me. And the lovely Copperhead still pulls at the heart strings, looked stunning Tony, all lovingly polished. Was great to see Marks Mamba edition, and remind myself how one looks!! Thanks to those that offered support during my lack of oil pressure moment in the morning, I can only think a bit of debris (gasket??) stuck open the relive valve, loosing pressure when at lower rpm. I was watching the gauges while playing around on the circuits in the afternoon and all stayed sweet. Now winners awards... if there wasn't trophies for most entertaining car and driver of the day, then I would like to donate the far circuit prize to Mark "fatboy" 91 car, you were the most entertaining, big grin factor hooligan out there. And I never knew Neil "fishing" ABS eek was so competitive, I haven't laughed so much in ages, for all the will in the world wanting to win, please take the near circuit autocross prize, you deserve it.

Now how were those Santa Pod times today? rotate
