Good luck mate, they say the economy is doing well now.....But I'm not seeing it in my game frown

Not really sure why Vipers seem slow to sell?

I think its to do with most buyers limited knowledge of the car I never even had to advertised my corvettes when I wanted to sell they were gone in a day I find it bizarre that some folks will be pay over 30k for an old mustang or an old corvette or Camaro and yet be hesitant in buying an epic car like a viper for that price weird really but that's how it is

I think a lot of people dont get the viper, what surprises me is the money being asked for cobra kit cars with a small block in it some are over 30k. If you want a factory v10 with 6 speed manual box viper all day every day.Saying that the only way i got to viper ownership was to buy and sell early air cooled 911s last one being a 993 which i px for the viper i have now. Maybe take a px on something that has a wider market than the viper.

Yes it's bizarre I think its the mods that have been done to it scares some folk, when I first saw it advertised I was concerned about the mods but after hearing through the viper club that it is an awesome car my concerns were put aside, my dream is to own a viper but its out of reach for me at the moment which is a shame as all my money is tied up in my challenger so I would have to sell that and my corvette to fund it, but as the engine is out the Vette at the moment it won't be happening for a while, I do love the car and weather permitting may get to see it in the flesh Monday night, some one somewhere is going to pick up an epic car !!

Looks great and the list of mods is impressive - right up my street but a year too early for me. Sorry frown - good luck with the sale.

well to be honest I just get frustrated with the weather speed limits inner city life once the weather changes and I taxed the car in march and drive it couple of times then I would not even accept £40.000 for the car

I understand your frustration, I didn't go to the ace tonight as I assumed you wouldn't be there, let me know next time your going as I still wanna see the car and convince you a challenger as a daily will be good for you :-D

I had a look on Ebay.com last night the early 96-97 models have seem to have gone up in value there were 2 modified ones that were over $60k I think if someone is lucky they will snap mine in the next few days at that price as it will not be advertised again at this price

Ive looked at this viper many times. I know its had money spent but if it was standard id have made an offer.

Id be interested but, for me, it would have to be about £26k as its modified.

I've been keeping my eyes out for a blue gts for a while.

Anyway, good luck with the sale.

Ive edited this as I can feel some people coming on telling me I'm being unfair and it could well be worth the asking price to someone but hasn't this been for sale for a long, long time. People are also aware its been ragged (in sure it can take it) but its been on airfields etc etc. I would have personally thought a low miles standard GTS would be worth more but I could well be wrong.

Either way its a lovely car.

Its worth every penny mate. If you want a stock Blue and White then there is a stock one also advertised on PH, As for your pricing.....Your are talking complete bkS if you think any Viper owner is going to depart with a GTS for that money!

Yes the car had been for sale for a long time as have a few other Vipers. If you have ever driven one of these, its like Marmite, your either bittern or it will scare the life out of you!

These cars have so much torque that it gets novice drivers in real trouble quick!

Had you thought about looking at Corvettes whistle

this car is worth every pound and is actually seriously underpriced. shame that none has bought it yet (still trying to convince my brother to buy it but he is eyeing my RT/10 in case I decide to leave the country) anyway, finding a GTS for 26k is wishfull thinking...they cost more than that in the states, good luck.

also there is almost no point in getting a stock viper - they need a few things sorting to get perfect wink

Fair enough gents. I would say that in my defence a lot of the owners tend to go on websites and say other cars are 'worth every penny' and it may well be but generally it would have sold if it was worth that.

Yes, perhaps worth more than £26k to some, but for me id prefer a stock one but I know we are all different which is what makes life fun.

67k miles is also quite high for most vipers I see advertised.

I'm sure the owner will sell in due course anyway.

I think you are missing the point a little. These are not normal cars and do not fit the usual buying criteria. Not only are they designed to be improved they also have a small market and may not sell quickly. This does not mean they are not priced right it just means the next owner of the car is not quite ready for it yet.

Besides, if you are so disinterested why are you posting?
