Pretty sure I've seen this mentioned elsewhere on here but I saw it in the flesh at Dunsfold yesterday and from a very quick look it looked very tidy.

Yeah, this car is located in Aldershot only about 60 miles from me, so I'll wander over and take a look.
You'd never lose that in a car park!!!

As viperdave wrote i think gen1/2 you get a factory built v10 roadster/ coupe for the same price some people are asking for a kit car and some so called classic cars. Like most of the guys on this forum ive had many american and porsches, other than a barracuda fastback i had with nitros the viper is the only car i will find any excuse to get it out of the garage for a spin. Its such an outrageous looking car and you dont see many vipers on the road everyday you pull up and you will get people coming over to look and take photos. To me its a no brainer buy one have plenty of fun and when you move it on if you bought it right you will get your money back maybe make a bit but the fun you can have with these will more than make up for the financial outlay.

Unfortunately, the Viper will have to wait. A classic Mustang cropped up which having viewed, I couldn't resist.
At least it will be a good introduction to LHD until the day comes when I find the right Viper.
In the meantime, I will enjoy the 'Stang and maybe I'll see some of your cars in the future at various meets.

Well my journey has begun, sold my bike it goes Saturday , little gutted as I loved it, and not going out for a final run as I will change my mind! Ha ha.. So the fund is starting on its way.. Still weighing up options..

I have a bigger than normal garage, my C5 fits in no problem, but Z06, and Viper are almost 2 inches wider
which in theory should still be OK, but needs checking

Check the mirror to mirror width, the viper will be narrower than a C5, The C5 has big sticky out ears. whereas the viper mirrors are almost within the max width of the body, The vette barely fits through our standard up and over garage door with about 1/4 - 1/2" spare either side. No such problems with either viper. Its close but no too close like the vette.

Other factors can come into play though such as door thickness and shape of the viper and easy exit seats on the vette that can be the difference between sleeping in your bed with the wife or living in your garage.

ha ha! I have a precedure for the C5! one mirror folded in, other left used as a gauge, then drive til my tennis ball on string touches the screen, exit out ( carpet on wall! ) bit of a squeeze but OK, sometimes easier with window down about a qtr way ( as they curve in towards you)then back up and close door..
on plus side the garage is very long, no issues there, although the Viper isn't actually as big as I percieved it to be..

Glad you approve of the car Corv.
Technically it will fit in the garage, but practically, no.
It has a cover for the summer and I'm using a neighbours nice big empty garage for the rainy periods and winter storage.
Storage was a big worry, but I'm pleased I have that 'covered' now (excuse the pun)
