there's a guy near Luton called Mark Jackson, he used to be involved with the club several years ago

I went for a viewing to buy the car up in Stoke (off another viper guy who is a trader) before Mark purchased it, I turned it down, but he went on to buy it a few months later. I haven't seen the car or Mark for years so not really any help

Baz maybe be able to tell you more, about the engine and nos failure

Well its got some goodies on it, Uprated Half shafts = Good
Belanger Headers = Good
Corsa Exhaust = Good
18" Wheels = Good
Brake upgrade = Excelent

From the pictures it looks like the car has been in storage, the engine pic looks very dusty, would need a full fluid change if you were to buy it (just to be on the safe side) Power steering cap is not stock?

Nos, Yes Please, Im toying of putting that on my car for a bit of fun. All depends who set it up originally and how progressive it was. Bloody great big bottle in the boot!

Looks good, when you going to look at it smile

Good price too with all those extras.

Wonder what was done to the engine? Heads, cam?

Just needs some 93 ORECA car stickers, But I know a bloke who does that biggrin

Get rid of that front plate too whistle

Cheers fatboy I can see your gonna get me into trouble lol, I had disregarded a viper as I had a C2 corvette I had set in my heart but I went to see it sunday and well it wasn't as good as I had in my head (seen it at shows and won best in its class many times) but out of the show field you look at it differently and I was disappointed, then I saw this last night and the price was good so got me back thinking about a viper, doubt it will hang around at this price so will try and view one day this week if work allows.

Well I have just spoken to the seller and indeed it is Mark Jacksons car and should be well known in the Viper circle according to the seller ?, only being sold as he has bought a Ferrari for £200k and as he has a lot of cars he has decided to sell this one, so I am going to try and look at it tomorrow or Friday.

yea he just brought a 458, nice

I could probably dig up Marks number, so you could speak to him direct rather than the trader.
I don't think the car will be well known to most on here, as he had just about stopped doing club stuff when this viper came to light, recall it was just at a few events

Mark is a great guy and had a few vipers and other American muscle cars..

Engine was Re-Built due to Nos detonating in the intake manifold.

I belive the engine was built with some performance goodies as well

his 458 is stunning!!!!

Thanks guys well it looks like it's an honest car and good money, not really Into red cars and wish it was a different colour (no disrespect to fatboy) that said I do like fatboys as with the race stickers I would have it in red but couldn't copy so will need to come up with a solution if I decide I like it. Time will tell.

Red is definatly the right colour for the race car look and is by far my favourite, Dam fatboy I can see you costing me a lot of money lol, this is supposed to be a car to get in and use so I have time to do my corvette up lol, can see it getting a little derailed looking at these lol

So lets see, we have Two Red White stripes 91 Daytona 24hrs replica vipers in the UK
I believe there is a 64 Chamberlain, Blue / white stripes Viper here too.
Then there's my 92 American Le mans series replica From the Watkins Glen race

So that leaves you rather a lot of choices on graphics

91,92,93 24hr Le mans
51, 52, 53 24hr Le mans
92 Daytona 24hrs
And their the ones I can think of off the top of my head!

And the car would look good as you have the white stripes already, I also know there are a pair of new autoform side sills floating around with side exit holes if you wanted to go side exit and not cut into the original sills. biggrin

All sounding good so far? Come on, you know you want to biggrin Suns out smile

Well I have just been and seen the car, drives ok, sounds the nuts very loud, it is very tired though, she's been used !!! Sills need painting front spoiler needs painting, whole car needs moping as it looks like a scourer has been used, head lights have gone all funny, it has nitrous and a line lock lol ! There was a knocking coming from the front sounds like a roll bar bush, does have some potential but may off being mint, but it would be the cheapest GTS in the country, fatboy can you email me your number again please as its not on my phone :-) cheers
Ps it has a 450bhp plaque on the back and 480ft lb
But apparently is over 500bhp

furry headlights means the clear laquar has been removed off the polycarbonate headlamp, and now it has faded
so allow that in the price im pretty sure they are impossible to re-polish

it was pretty tired when I saw it to way back, hence the newer wheels, did you look underneath?

Well I may go back with someone familiar with vipers to give me feed back as I can get it for quite a bit less than advertised which would allow me to sort the paint out if all else appears good, only time will tell.

You can polish up plastic headlights with a kit from 3M.

I'm struggling to make a decision between this and the C2 corvette, friends and family saying the viper is in need of too much and could be risky, didn't sleep at all last night, going to spend the next couple of days mulling it over as I'm really struggling to make a decision, didn't really want a project as I have my C3 waiting to be done which is why I wanted the C2 to just get in and go, but the viper want runs deep, only time will tell biggrin
