":#^*?"# numberplates at DVLA. They told me 10 working days from the time of receiving the paperwork - it's been a week so far.
Bring back the regional offices where you waited for ages but at least you got the documents that day.

I didn't know they have changed the system? Is there now no office where you can walk in with all paperwork?

Would Baz not let you take the car on his plate for now??

I had to wait a couple of weeks when I bought the Ram SRT because of the plate transfer

Thats what we should of done Carl ..

Sam (wife) bought a car and we did it all online in 3 days.. filled out a form paid the eighty pounds and reg was transfered off there and then with original plate to go back on...

Issue is .. Because i bought the car into the UK snd registered it with my private plate tje Viper has never had a DVLA age related plate so the system never had a plate for it to fall back onto....

Bloody anoying. ...

Weather is looking good for Sunday...ie, not wet. John, don't worry if you can't make Sunday, there's always the following Sunday at Coffee and Cars Liverpool, and following that Sunday, is Krispy Kreme Trafford park, would be good to see you there too! But let's hope you can pick the viper up asap!

Thoroughly enjoyed today, so thanks to Stuart for organizing it. Food was great, we didn't do the planned drive (well 3 of us had already driven 80-100 miles to get there) but it was great to meet up with fellow owners and a prospective owner.

4 Vipers and Adrian's stunning Challenger made the trip, and all agreed it was worth it and will be doing it again, with hopefully more Vipers.

Just awaiting Stuarts photo's now 'cos he's got a posh camera!
