Took her out for my last proper outing with the viper until my uncle takes it off my hands. I know I've owned the viper for just over a year but the time has gone too fast. I was hoping to own it for another year but my uncle offered me a sweet offer. And as it's time to buy a house before the houses in my area become extortionate, it seems I need to invest in property for the next few years!

It took 16 years to save up for the viper. I couldn't believe my first drive home in it and the amount of cameras that jumped out of guys pockets to try and grab a snap! It came with a few issues and developed a few but I managed to sort em one way or another which kept it on the road. If the day was dry it was time to fill up and take it out and DRIVE!

The car will pass to my uncle who has more room to store it and better conditions. He has asked me to maintain it from time to time and take it out whenever the cobwebs need blasting. I'm happy its staying in the family as I can always buy it back when the time is right. Or who knows...maybe look at a gen 4 or 5 a little later on.

I HAVE BEEN BITTEN and the venom won't go away, so I'll be keeping my eyes open in the future...

Mark, Barry, Adrian and Carl...you've all helped big time and wouldn't have enjoyed it as much as I could without you so big thanks to all.

In the meantime, here the viper in its natural habitat:

And my personal favourite...

Seems like a win - win situation Stu, free drives from time to time, and someone else paying the upkeep!

Wow - can't believe time has gone so quickly! Glad you've enjoyed the experience and good to hear it's still 'in the family' and you get to drive it. Keep us updated as it's always nice to know what happens with past cars :-)

Haha, quick update...

Uncle decided not to take it for two reasons, he thought it was a convertible, and 2, had no where to store it yet. So it's mine again...looks like Ill be keeping it for another summer unless someone offers me some queens heads!

Either outcome is absolutely fine of course wink
