Bruntingthorpe V Max III - need Vipers this time!!

Ok guys,
having spent a long time trying to come up with a date for us to point our respective exotica down that 2 mile straight and press the loud pedal until we run out of runway I think I have.....
OK, I know its a little while away but its looking like Sunday Oct 12th is the day. However, at least that will give some of you time to perform some mental modifications (Derestrictor!) and for some jolly banter to take place here.
Pricewise, as before will be based around numbers. last time I believe I estimated between £150 and £175 for about 6 runs. It worked out that there was a potential minimum of 10 runs and cost was £150. So I'd guess about the same but as always I'm negotiating discounts where possible.
Please drop me an email through my profile. Some of you have contacted me already, you will take priority initially.
Last time was mainly Porsches,TVR's,Ferrari's and Ultimas with the odd Beemer, Lambo and Noble thrown in for good measure. It would be good to have one of your beasties along...

no offence here I know what it takes to organise such an event, but 2 weeks ago a few vipers ran at Elvington
along with around 100 'tuned' cars, they had a 1/4 mile strip, a handling circuit and the 2 mile runway to go down as many times as you wished, some did 30 odd runs, included is a pro DVD of the day, all for £80!!, it turned out to be a great day weather (37 deg) wise as well, were as in October anything can happen

Now if you want VALUE for money,in july i went to Thorney island american car show on the south coast.
This is a fully operational military base with one hell of a runway ,they set up a proper dragstrip and for a fiver you could run all day,also had loads to do for kids,the usual muscle car stands,books ,models t-shirts etc plus a military display.
Maybe one for the diary next year.

Can I just point out that Craig is not running this event at a profit. He's basically been pestered by the likes of Derestrictor, Jeremyc and myself to organise another run for us as he did successfully in late April. The price of attending is a simple sum of the costs of hiring the facility and speed verification equipment etc divided by the number of cars being driven, ie it is effectively a bunch of mates hiring the venue between them. The limit on the number of runs you do is how much of a hammering you are prepared to give your car. The day is run informally and will break down into people swapping rides doing standing starts and all sorts of responsible hoonary.
Of course the Uber Porkophiles and Dancing Donkey Lovers etc... will understand if custodians of americas sporting finest are unable to attend.

Don'y think Viper's comment were having a pop at you but just telling you what we get up to.
We are very keen a high speed motoring, perhaps you could contact the "Ten of the Best" and get a team to join us next year, however you need to be seriously quick they have Skylines that are just off 200.
However the Viper was third on the handling course beating most of the FWD machines but unable to hold off the nimble kit cars like the Dax.

It's a two mile runway but last time there were cars parked up at the end so we effectively had just over 1.5 miles before we had to mash the brakes before the right hander off the runway.
What sort of speeds were you getting at the 1.2 mile mark? standing start or apexing off a corner?

Been checking on the cars that ran last year and most were down on speed by around 8-10 mph,i think this was down to the very high temps dropping engine power,and a slight head wind .Ronny was doing 207 for the 1.2 mile in October with the same set up as this year.Mind you a standing 1/4 at 152 mph can,t be all bad.Was happy with our 12.1 at 127 mph on knacked tyres!
