Will there be any 8 second Vipers at TOTB3?

It is the A1 rallysport guy. He was at TOTB 1, and his car did do well, but it is only 2wd.
I spoke to him on Sunday, and he told me that he is using a std T5 gearbox, which broke only a couple of weeks before last sunday.. I would believe that it is only a 5 speed after watching him go up the track, unless 6th is a very silly overdrive.

No one will run an 8 second pass (1000TT or not) without an auto tran. I know SVSI in chicago recently clicked off a low nine second pass on boost only, but that was with an auto tranny car. With the T56 the twin-turbo cars run mid to high 9 second passes. Supercharged vipers have a best of a 9.90 by Jason Heffner in a 96 GTS. Im making 775 rwhp and am guessing that I am capable of a 10.2-10.4. 8 seconds is a lofty goal on an IRS 6 speed car with a short wheelbase.
Are you smokinv10 from viperalley? I read that site often - I'm not a member (don't own a Viper, but then I'm only 17).
I don't actually mean only will vipers that are 8 second capable be at totb, but, being realistic and down to earth, vipers which run 11 secs or quicker - these are where the most well rounded cars (ND EVO 7 - good on twists and straight, likewise with Rocket Ronnie's R33), and it would be interesting to see a viper mix with these established players. I expect that widens the grouping, and maybe a few cars will fit in that group? 11sec or quicker, competent on twists - Nad? (Your certainly good on corners ).

Sense of proportion failure here ! There is no way your machine is a HUMBLE street car !!
Couldn't have said it better by myself. 600BHP from a supercharger, and a wild, yet very competent, driver (not forgetting both the car and the driver must get a lot of attention) is far from a street car. Even a stock Viper wouldn't be a street car - lol (because it is high performing, has presence/is distinctive, head turning, etc).

Well, maybe he's not so humble then! But, I am running with OE brakes (except disc / pad change / cooling), OE suspension, OE trans: box,diff,shafts, OE 17" wheels, road chassis, OE body (heavy weight) with addition of some styling splitters / wing / vents. Engine is OE 41K miles heads never off, sump is baffled but otherwise engine is standard...except for external bolt ons!! Cooling has upgraded rad. Exhaust is custom. Runs with OE air con, OE power steering, oil cooler, OE air bags! It's the graphics that make him look not so road car!
