Ok, just been doing some checking and the Museum is only open from 2pm to 6 pm so i think Sunday will be out, that only leaves Friday afternoon (after a long long drive). I think I,ll take a rain check on things for now, see how we get on time wise with the trip over and see who,s interested nearer the time. (You need to be a little hardcore to want to go looking around a museum after a 2.30am start and a 600 mile road trip...)

Looks like Friday at 16:00 the Germans have organised a Go-Kart event on the other side of the river, crossing is by ferrry so that should be fun.

For Sunday, how about a trip to Burg Eltz (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burg_Eltz) on the Mosel river. According to my TomTom, it's 30 miles south along what looks like a nice route and then if you park up in the town car park, it's a 35 minute hike up the hill to the castle. Even if we don't go in, it would be a nice place to visit if it's a nice day?

Of course, there's always the F1 GP @ Spa just 1 hour down the road that Sunday nuts

Just heard on the radio that the M25 is closed between the M3 and M4 because of a gas main leak. Horrendous traffic jams in that area. Dont know if it will affect anyone travelling down this evening.
