Yes, but what they could SVA for is the proof that the vehicle has the appropriate fittings or the space to accept a plate. Obviously it cant be the actual plate as the vehicle at that point wouldn't be registered. Anyway, thats all speculation. I'm more interested in what law is broken by not having one and the potential fine/points you could get
