hehe It's a bit nippy outside, I've got an icecream headache!

Coffee, smoke, then back outside for some more fun.

Your old Cerbie is tucked up in garage with its new Classic Additions fleecy car cover on.

It's a fine line between bravery and stupidity and I've no idea which sode of the line you sit, but thanks for a very well written tale.

Hope you enjoy the car as much as I do mine

Was speaking to one of my mates tonight as he mentioned that he had an Atom in recently. He was doing an mot on it and putting some brake lights and a sat nav bracket on it.

He said the owner just picked it up from N Ireland, surely it's you ?

You too, looking forward to a track day or two.

Expensive first service for you after you bought all that carbon-fibre hehe

Take care,
Donny

No it was his employee, Chris.

He was talking about it at his garage and then I remembered this thread.

I was telling him the story you wrote. He said that you were saying that the Atom doesn't come with a handbrake as standard as that's why it failed the mot?

Some folk have handbrakes - it's partly because I have the Alcons and no HB that I get the factory to service and MOT the car

With the road pack you get a handbrake included, however the larger Alcon brakes are not compatible with a handbrake unless you spend another £600 on the associated gubbins, the latter being a relatively recent option so older cars are unlikely to have it. I have the lever fitted and swap the callipers at MOT time, good excuse to change the brake fluid each year.

Hi Simon,

Many thanks; I'd have preferred to write about an enjoyable hoon on a sunny day though biglaugh

I've already got my eye on that thread, I usually signup to these things at the last minute so I know I can definitely attend.

Look forward to seeing you there.
