^^^Agree^^^^

The fact I got mine up to the 250hp mark on standard heads is still a source of amazement to me yes

The Op's car must be a real flyer bow

Bottom line is its just a healthy 240hp car Simon as TVR quoted, but with the cats removed to bring it up to 250hp.

Unfortunately like most 4.0 litres it does suffer from standard heads which ultimately holds it back.

So I can't sleep for this going round my head........

It must have been Nick's Turbo RV8 Minor I saw at Castle Combe at around 1990 at the De Tomaso club drivers day blowing every one away!

Probably the funniest thing I've ever seen is this Morris Minor literally 'blowing away' all the Fezzers, Lambos & De-Tomaso's of the day along the straights there.

Great memories for me. yes

He was turning 9's over the quarter so that would have been a walk in the park laugh
