Chim Hard Top Pics

Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyone had pics of a Chimaera with one of the aftermarket Hard Tops fitted?

Preferably painted i.e body-coloured?

Unfortunately the cerbera roof looks awesome as a hard top. the chim/ griff looks better in mohair

Yeah, that's the kinda thing. But in gloss GRP etc as opposed to fabric.
Just wanted to see what it would look like really.

I know a Cerb is really not the same thing, the roof and the cut down screen leave totally different lines.

I think that looks like one of the racing Chimaera's from far east, the Malaysian factory had a few they would sell a couple of years back, but I sold my car and did not bother any further

Hard top is about £1400, fits in the boot

Unfortunately my budget wouldnt stretch to it so I am going for a replacement folding hood.

It was supposed to go in last saturday but had a bit of a family crisis so i wasnt able to drop it off...having to re-book so will be a while until its done now grrrr. I was hoping to get it all sorted before summer ! Oh well *sigh*

Following the above link the Green Chimaera looks to be a full hard top. Even has glass rear quarter panels.
Pity not a better photo.

They came out about 6 years ago but they didn't sell many I don't think. To my eyes they were on the right lines but the design needed a lot more work.
