Brilliant feedback Guy's, all very valid and valuable comments.
I welcome constructive criticism and opinions all day long - it's how things get better.
I'd only get annoyed if someone popped up to say it was ste without reason, just to be pisspotical, and then called me a nob before disappearing back in the Porsche forum
I wonder if a Photoshop boffin put some nice Spiders or those 5-spoke alloys from the Malaysian racer onto my Chim

I can see a nice colour matching hardtop on mine, it would suit it perfectly.......
So I guess the reception will be held on similar to your old model Steve? Snap down catches on the inside so the whole thing can be stored in the boot with the targa top.
I guess most people will drive with the rear on and the targa top stored .

To be honest, if I had a hardtop I would be tinting the windows anyway so the height of the rear screen wouldn't matter too much as it would be a dark screen on a dark coloured car. That said, I do prefer the look of the lower ones
I'm going to be asking santa for headlight cowls and a roof next Christmas

After some quick butchering, here's how it looks now..
The paint is literally still wet on this. I'm happy with how it's turned out - the screen height has been reduced by 45mm, which isn't too high, or too low, and I think it compares favourably with the excellent Photoshop example above.
I've included a few extra pics at alternative angles to get a better perspective of the whole thing sat on the car.
Steve.
