The Malaysian "Chimaera Challenge" hard tops really suited the cars. Had this one sent over from TVR Malayasia before they went tits up, currently gathering dust in my TVR parts vault smile

Nice!! That's has got to be one rare bit of kit....
Anyone handy at making moulds?!

I'd definitely be interested in one if someone put a small production line together!

I assume the one pictured just needs sprayed, and some Perspex?

I still think all you need to do is make a mould for a Malaysian style rear section that would mate up with an existing targa panel (both could be painted body colour) so that both could be fitted in the boot while out and about.

Isn't there someone that already makes a "hard" replacement for the fold down rear section already?

Agreed - the full Malaysian roof is a very nice looking bit of kit but given that there appears to be only one of them in existence so to produce more would need to have moulds created (and possibly infringe copyright) and therefore won't be easy or "cheap"...

Easy to get round copyrights if you change it slightly, I'm already half way there to making a mould

Now there's the $64,000 question...

The only answer I can give is more than I would like to and less than you would want me to.
