I lifted the body of using two lihgt chain hoists one with a timber support across under the inner wings just in front of the engine and the other above the rear cockpit , i used a lifting sling through speaker holes and just slowly lifted checking all the while, only wires i forgot where the speedo sensor feeds once the body is high enough wheel out the chassis lower body onto 25ltr cans with ply pads to suit then used the same hoists to lift the chassis onto its stands, cant stand all this bending much easier at a good working height.

John that's amazing!!! It certainly is a small world!! I'll be in touch john
PS, last time I spoke to Dave he was looking at taking the boat to Germany??
not a lot to report, got the chassis back from preliminary shotblasting started removing affected areas made a jig for the outriggers, removed the heater from the body plus got rid of the original battery box and the bump that protudes into the wheel arch, i make a stainless frame for the hole that is left and an ally or glassfibre door to fit makes any work on the heater so much easier, battery will go behind the passengers seat or in the boot, just one pic of the shotblasted and primed chassis.

got a few more pics mainly of engine being stripped plus a couple before and after chassis pics, engine is beautifully clean inside always an encouraging sign, much welding next week on chassis then engine should be back so that can go back together ,plus had the rep from movac and have sorted paints etc. so all going well so far.
